Recovering from a heart attack or other cardiac episode can be overwhelming, but you and your family don’t have to go through it alone. It’s easy and convenient to take part in the cardiac rehabilitation program at Samaritan Health Services.
Cardiac rehabilitation provides motivation and support for your recovery. With structured, monitored exercises and heart-related education, you can develop a healthy lifestyle by identifying personal risk factors to reduce the chances of experiencing another cardiac incident. Our staff will work with your primary care physician to obtain the written referral and any necessary insurance authorization regarding your individual medical history and needs.

Cardiovascular Health and Prevention Program
Samaritan hospitals offer outpatient exercise programs for people who want to reduce their risk of a cardiovascular event. Classes include medical supervision with monitoring of cardiovascular parameters. Participants can self-refer, however a physician authorization is required. Class schedules vary by location, but each program offers safe, structured exercise guided by cardiac rehabilitation staff.
