Vascular and Interventional Radiology
Interventional radiologists are physicians trained in performing minimally invasive, targeted treatments, both endovascular and nonvascular, under imaging guidance. These procedures represent an advance in medicine that can often replace open surgical treatments. They are generally easier for patients because they involve smaller incisions, less risk and shorter recovery times. Our board-certified interventional radiologists hold sub-specialty certifications in vascular and interventional radiology and use the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment while performing more than 1,000 procedures annually. They work closely with patients and other physicians to identify the most effective diagnostic and treatment options possible.
