Our Responsibility
The Center has central responsibility for health and clinical research, community-based health promotion programs, and other sponsored activities. All proposals for external funding are routed through the Center for review and signatory approval prior to submission. The Center also provides oversight and support to ensure compliance with human subject protection regulations and other terms and conditions. Samaritan's Institutional Review Board (IRB) falls under the jurisdiction of the Center.
