Samaritan Robotic-Assisted Surgery Program

The da Vinci® robotic-assisted surgical system is now available at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. Today, complex conditions can be treated with minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery. The da Vinci® Surgical System provides surgeons with an alternative to both traditional open surgery and conventional laparoscopy, putting a surgeon's hands at the controls of a state-of-the-art robotic platform.

The da Vinci® enables surgeons to perform even the most complex and delicate procedures through very small incisions with unmatched precision. With this technology, surgeries require only a few small incisions, so you can get back to your life faster – without the usual recovery time following major surgery.

We are currently, or will soon be, offering the following robotic-assisted procedures:
  • General surgery
  • Gynecologic cancer surgery
  • Hysterectomy
  • Myomectomy
  • Oophorectomy
  • Pelvic prolapse surgery
  • Prostatectomy
