Nutrition Services

Nutrition Services

Whether you're trying to reduce the salt or fat in your diet, manage diabetes or safely lose the weight you gained during pregnancy, the registered dietitians at any one of Samaritan Health Services' five hospitals can help design a nutrition plan to work for you.

We offer a variety of nutrition programs specially designed for your particular needs with the latest information backed by years of experience. Individualized program areas for children and adults include: cancer, diabetes, digestive disorders, eating disorders, food allergies, gestational diabetes, general nutrition, heart disease, kidney disease, osteoporosis, pregnancy, sports nutrition, vegetarianism and weight problems.

Nutrition services are available in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Within the hospital, dietitians provide nutrition education to patients and ensure the meals being provided during the patient's stay are appealing as well as nutritious. With a physician referral, dietitians can work with you on an outpatient basis to develop a personalized nutrition plan addressing your specific nutrition needs. Additionally, if you are homebound, services are available by physician referral through Samaritan Home Health Services.

Our dietitians also teach nutrition classes at the hospitals and in the communities by request. For more information, contact a dietitian at the hospital nearest you from the list below:
