Integrative Medicine

Integrative medicine combines evidence-based therapies from multiple disciplines to facilitate a person’s innate ability to heal. The practitioner and patient work together using conventional Western medicine, Eastern medicine practices and other manual therapies as well as movement, mind-body and natural therapies to promote health of the mind, body and spirit.

Samaritan Health Services' commitment to integrative medicine is seen through beautiful artwork hung in hallways and patient rooms, fragrant gardens and soothing water features, relaxing massages for oncology patients and its integrative medicine outpatient clinic, Heartspring Wellness Center. Currently there are two Heartspring locations, Corvallis Heartspring Wellness Center and Albany Heartspring Wellness Center.

The clinics' professionally-directed programs and services offer unprecedented access to multiple time-honored processes for healing the body and mind as well as integrative primary care. Through individual sessions, group workshops and classes, Heartspring offers safe and effective instruction on mind-body practices. Each clinic also has a Wellbeing Resource Center where products that support health and well-being may be purchased.
