Nutrition Services

Whether you're trying to reduce the salt or fat in your diet, manage diabetes or safely lose the weight you gained during pregnancy, the registered dietitians of Samaritan Health Services' five hospitals can help design a nutrition plan to work for you

We offer a variety of nutrition therapy services specially designed for your particular needs with the latest scientific information. Individualized program areas for children and adults include: cancer, diabetes, digestive disorders, eating disorders, food allergies, gestational diabetes, general nutrition, heart disease, kidney disease, osteoporosis, pregnancy, sports nutrition, vegetarianism and weight management.

Nutrition services are available in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Within the hospital, clinical dietitians assess and monitor your medical nutritional needs to help speed recovery, support immunity and prevent complications. With a physician referral, dietitians can work with you on an outpatient basis to develop a personalized nutrition plan.

Our dietitians also teach nutrition classes at Samaritan's hospitals and within the community by request. For more information, contact a dietitian at the hospital nearest you.
