Welcome to Samaritan's urgent care/walk-in clinics, where local residents and visitors receive high-quality, immediate medical care that is fast, convenient and affordable. Samaritan Health Services has facilities in Albany, Corvallis, Depoe Bay, Lebanon, Lincoln City, Newport and North Albany. Urgent care and walk-in care clinics provide comparable services.
Our facilities provide immediate care for acute medical conditions — those conditions that have flared up and are hurting, aching or bothering you right now. We treat conditions that require immediate attention but are not life threatening or severe enough to be cared for in the emergency room.
Some examples of common, immediate care conditions are:
- Sore throat
- Ear infection/pain
- Minor cuts/abrasions
- Minor burns
- Muscle strains
- Vomiting/diarrhea
- Cold or flu symptoms
Immediate care is a good option if you have an acute condition, such as one of those listed above, if your regular primary care provider's (PCP) office is closed or when you cannot wait for the next available PCP appointment. Immediate care is not meant to be used for routine medical care.
Walk-in visits usually cost the same as, or just slightly more than, the cost of regular physician office visits. They are considerably less expensive than the cost of an emergency room visit. Most insurance companies pay for this type of visit, but you must read your insurance plan's benefit packet to be sure.
Please bring a current insurance card and be prepared to submit any co-payment during your visit. If you have billing questions, please call clinic billing.

Your health and safety are our top priority.
If you are experiencing a serious symptom such as chest pain, severe abdominal pain, sudden dizziness or blurred vision, severe burns, or moderate to severe head injuries, the emergency room is still the best place for you to receive care.
