Wound, Ostomy, Continence Clinic

Program Overview

At Albany General, we have experts trained in wound, ostomy, incontinence, and diabetic foot care to help you maintain the lifestyle you're accustomed to - because your lifestyle doesn't have to change just because you have special medical needs.

Ostomy Care

If you've had an operation (such as a colostomy or ileostomy) to create an artificial passage for bodily elimination, our nurses can assist you and your family with the changes that this brings to your life. Ostomy services for patients with:

Diabetic Foot Care

People with diabetes are at higher risk for developing foot problems that require skilled evaluation and treatment. Foot care clinics are offered on a monthly basis for people with diabetes with a referral from their physician.
