Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center OB team recognized for excellent patient careJan. 26, 2004 The obstetrical nursing team at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center was recognized recently by Johnson’s for excellent patient care. The recognition was based on nominations from former patients. Johnson’s, widely known as the baby products company Johnson’s and Johnson’s, in partnership with the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses, invited patients everywhere to say “thank you” to their maternity centers. GSRMC received multiple nominations. “This award is a nice reflection of our staff’s commitment to providing excellent care,” said Debbie Heim, nurse manager for the hospital’s Center for Women and Families. “They take so much pride in their work and always go the extra mile to make a birth a wonderful experience for the patient and her family.” According to Heim, positive feedback from patients comes frequently in the form of letters and patient surveys after the birth. “Patient feedback is so important to us, and we are always happy to hear that people have great experiences while they are here,” she said. “We make comfort a priority and spend time with all patients to make sure the birth experience is as smooth and memorable as possible.” |
