 GSRMC: Patient and Visitor Information

Visiting Hours and Guidelines

The support you receive from visitors is an important aspect of your recovery. Our visiting guidelines are designed to be as flexible as possible while still giving you the rest you need. If you would like to limit or restrict visitors at any time, please tell your nurse.

In general, visiting is limited to two persons per patient at any one time. Visitors under age 15 must have physician permission to visit, and those under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

General visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the following exceptions:

  • Pediatric Patients:
Parents may visit at any time and are welcome to stay overnight with their children. The nursing supervisor can also help arrange overnight accommodations for other family members.
  • Intensive Care Unit (2-North):
Please check with ICU staff prior to visiting.
