Visiting Hours and GuidelinesThe support you receive from visitors is an important aspect of your recovery. Our visiting guidelines are designed to be as flexible as possible while still giving you the rest you need. If you would like to limit or restrict visitors at any time, please tell your nurse. In general, visiting is limited to two persons per patient at any one time. Visitors under age 15 must have physician permission to visit, and those under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. General visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the following exceptions:
Visitor ServicesThe hospital cafeteria, located on the main floor, is open to the public. Beverage vending machines are located by the Emergency Room exit on the ground floor. Meals are served during the following hours:
An automatic teller machine is located next to the main lobby for your convenience. The machine can process cash withdrawals only. The Gift ShopGood Sam's Gifts, is operated by the hospital Auxiliary and is open Mon.-Fri. 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The shop features a variety of handmade items, as well as fresh flowers, cards, snacks and other gift ideas. Hospital ChapelThe hospital chapel is open 24 hours a day and is available to anyone. The chapel also features a variety of spiritual and inspirational reading materials. If you wish to see a chaplain, contact the nursing supervisor. Overnight AccommodationsOvernight accommodations for family members are available at furnished studio apartments near the hospital and also at several local hotels. All are offered at reduced rates. |
