Lifeline

Program Overview

Lifeline provides individuals of all ages 24-hour access to personal support and at-home assistance in an emergency. It is ideal for those recuperating at home from illness or surgery and the elderly or physically challenged who want to live more independently in their own home.

Whenever they need help, Lifeline subscribers simply press their lightweight, waterproof help button. That activates a small in-home unit called a communicator. It puts them in touch with a caring Lifeline Monitor who talks to them and finds out what kind of help they need. It may mean calling an ambulance, or simply calling a neighbor to check in.

There is no need to buy the Lifeline home unit. For only $1 a day, area residents can rent a unit. Local volunteers install the units at no charge, and the units are replaced as telephone and communication technology change. Financial assistance is also available through your local Samaritan hospital foundation.

This is your life. And you want to continue living it in the way you want – in the comfort of your own home, where you're surrounded by the memories of a lifetime.

Lifeline gives you the confidence and freedom to live on your own. There's always someone standing by to help - 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week - at the press of a button. And if you press your button and can't speak, your Lifeline Monitor knows exactly what to do.

Give your family peace of mind...

With Lifeline, your loved ones can rest assured that you're safe, secure, and happy in your home. If you need help, we'll call the right kind of help for you. It may mean dispatching an ambulance. Or simply asking your neighbor to look in on you.

And you don't have to wait until you have an emergency to call Lifeline. We encourage you to check in with us every month just so we know you're there.

Your personal connection to people who care...

While people choose Lifeline for a number of reasons, they remain subscribers largely because of the caring response they get from Lifeline Monitors every time they push their help buttons. Lifeline takes the time to learn all about you. So when you press your help button, the highly trained Lifeline Monitor who answers your call knows your special needs and interests before you say a word.

Your health and well-being is our only concern. We're always there when you need us.

Peace of mind is well within your reach...

The price of Lifeline service is surprisingly affordable. And there's no need to make a long-term commitment. Join those who are living independently in their homes thanks to Lifeline, a truly personal, caring connection. Why wait?
