Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital Dietary Department offers nutrition education and information from a registered dietician for both hospitalized patients and those accessing services on an outpatient basis.
Diabetes Education classes are available to help diabetic patients better understand the importance of controlling their blood sugar levels and how diabetes can affect other medical conditions. A monthly support group for diabetes patients focuses on diet modification, exercise, medication and other related information.
Lifesteps, a 16-week weight management program is offered for people who would like to lose weight.
