Rehabilitation Services
Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital offers a wide array of rehabilitation services for people of all ages and varying functional abilities on both an outpatient and inpatient basis.
The department offers physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology services. It provides treatment and education and supports clients along their road to recovery, encouraging them to return to the highest functional level and to meet their goals.
The rehabilitation department provides individual, integrated and coordinated approaches to treatment programs utilizing exercise, hands-on techniques and programs to improve mobility, decrease pain and increase functional abilities.
The SNLH Rehabilitation Department also provides an AquaFitness program, taught by a certified American Arthritis Foundation instructor. The hospital therapy pool is also available for independent patient use. Other available programs include orthopedic and spine injury rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, stroke recovery/support group, industrial/occupational injury prevention and treatment programs, lymphedema treatment, urinary incontinence treatment and independent gym/exercise.
