Program Details

This is a four-month orientation program designed to support the new graduate nurse transition to practice or the onboarding of a new to specialty critical care nursing RN. The critical care internship program is designed to support your orientation journey and incorporates classroom, simulation lab and focused clinical experiences.

The internship education includes:

  • The AACN’s Essentials of Critical Care Orientation modules.
  • Cardiac rhythm interpretation courses.
  • Classes featuring subject matter experts and interdisciplinary team members on a variety of critical care topics and issues.
  • Simulation lab experience to reinforce classroom concepts.
  • Clinical practice with focused objectives related to critical care concepts.
  • New Grad Transition to Practice program.
