Still Time to Apply: Midwifery & Doula Education Scholarships Available 07/09/2026 Aspiring midwives and doulas in Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties still have time to apply for the Jeanne Hazleton Scholarship for Midwifery and Doula Education. Administered by the Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation, the scholarship provides financial assistance to individuals beginning or continuing accredited midwifery or doula training programs. Established in 2008 to honor Jeanne Hazleton’s lifelong dedication to supporting families, the scholarship helps invest in the next generation of birth professionals. Applicants must have a connection to Benton, Lincoln or Linn counties and be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited program. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Aug. 15.
