Dr. Sisson earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Ohio Wesleyan University and a doctoral degree at the School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute. She completed a fellowship at University of Minnesota.
Her professional interests include whole-person medicine, such as helping people change habits, coaching people on healthy lifestyle choices, and using solution-focused methods to teach people how to deal with stress.
“I was drawn to Samaritan because it’s a place where healthcare providers can work together and try new ways to solve old problems,” Dr. Sisson said. “That, and I’m looking forward to working with providers who show so much commitment to their patients.”
Dr. Sisson is new to Oregon. In her free time she enjoys cooking, exercising and exploring new hobbies.
“I love to learn,” she said. “Oregon will be a new adventure, and I look forward to learning about the community.”
Dr. Sisson will see patients of Mid-Valley Medical Plaza. For more information, call 541-451-7800.
