Samaritan Medical Home welcomes behavior health specialist

Psychologist Lea Burns has joined Samaritan Medical Home in Lebanon. Having completed a primary care psychologist residency with Samaritan Health Services clinics in East Linn County, Burns is pleased to remain in the area.
“I am excited to be a part of the wonderful primary care team at Samaritan Medical Home,” she said. “Team-based, whole-person care is my passion and I could not ask to be part of a team I admire more.”
Burns earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kansas State University, as well as a master’s degree and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, with a focus on integrated health care, from the School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute.
In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, including hiking, biking, and gardening, and enjoying the culinary creations of the Pacific Northwest.
Burns will see patients of Samaritan Medical Home, providing behavioral health care and support for primary care patients of the clinic.
