Samaritan Medical Home welcomes new nurse practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner Darcy Butcher has joined Samaritan Medical Home in Lebanon.
Darcy earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Oregon Health & Science University.

With years of health care experience in Klamath Falls, and most recently hailing from Forest Grove, Darcy is pleased to be providing care in Lebanon.

“What excites me is being able to work in a rural area with an organization dedicated to taking care of basic health in the community, while also bringing specialties and extended services to the communities across the system,” Darcy said. “I chose Samaritan because of its commitment to providing a full-spectrum of care to the area.”

Darcy looks at patients’ health holistically, she said, and she is passionate about caring for others.

“That, combined with my love of the field of medicine, made it easy to pick this line of work,” she said.

In her free time, she enjoys all kinds of outdoor activities, always with her dogs in tow, including hiking, gardening and riding horses.

Darcy is accepting new patients. For more information, call Samaritan Medical Home at 541-451-6960.
