A free, local prostate cancer support group gives men who have or have had prostate cancer a place to openly discuss the impacts of the disease. Attendees are welcome to join at any time, no matter where they are in treatment.
The group, called “Man to Man,” meets first and third Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m., beginning March 20, 2014 at the Samaritan Cancer Resource Center, 400 NW Hickory St. in North Albany.
The facilitator is Rev. Jeff Hale, a chaplain with Samaritan Health Services. Some meetings have guest speakers. Call 541-812-5888 for more information.
