New family medicine provider comes to Lincoln City

Samaritan Coastal Clinic welcomes Family Nurse Practitioner Debra Frank.

Debra earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Phoenix, and a master’s degree in nursing from Graceland University. She has more than 18 years of experience providing health care, most recently hailing from Worland, Wyoming where she established and was the sole provider for the first and only walk-in medical clinic within 100 miles, and she also worked with the State of Wyoming to provide the only public health and family planning services within four counties.

She chose Samaritan because of its positive reputation and the beautiful location, she said. “I look forward to living in Lincoln City and having the opportunity to work with and learn from the exceptional providers on your medical staff,” Debra said.

Debra became a family nurse practitioner, in part, because of the personal interactions.

“I love knowing that I will make a positive difference in a person’s health and life,” she said. “I really enjoy the one-on-one relationships; the ability to sit across from a patient who knows me and whom I know well – well enough to effectively help this person work through and make informed and important health care decisions. “

In her free time, Debra enjoys reading, scuba diving, taking photographs, shopping, watching movies, biking, travelling and spending time with her husband and three dogs. She looks forward to exploring the Central Oregon coast.

Debra provides primary care to patients of all ages, and is accepting new patients. For more information, call Samaritan Coastal Clinic at 541-996-7480.
