Samaritan Physical Rehabilitation Welcomes Care Providers

Samaritan Physical Rehabilitation in Corvallis welcomes new members to the therapy team.

Speech therapist Ivy Stilwell earned a master’s degree in communication disorders and sciences from University of Oregon. With experience in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, acute care and hospice settings, Stilwell specializes in swallowing disorders, cognitive and neurological rehabilitation and voice communication disorders. She has specialty certification to administer Lee Silverman voice treatment and provides two types of objective swallow evaluations.

Occupational Therapist Karen Cunningham earned a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University and a master’s degree from San Jose State University. With more than two decades of experience, she has specialty training and experience in pediatrics, including sensory processing disorders and neurological and genetic disorders. In her free time, Cunningham enjoys knitting, playing the flute, hiking and playing with her children and dogs.

Physical Therapist Assistant Linda Herlihy earned an associate degree from Lane Community College, a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and a master’s degree from University of Virginia. Certified as a Hatha Yoga and Better Bones and Balance instructor, Herlihy was inspired to become a physical therapist assistant by her awe for the human body’s capacity to heal and a desire to facilitate the healing process. In her free time, she enjoys reading, solving Sudoku puzzles and spending time outdoors and contra dancing.

Stilwell, Cunningham and Herlihy will provide care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
