Morry joins Samaritan from Bridgecity Family Medical Clinic in Portland, where she provided primary care for patients.
“One of the reasons I was drawn to Samaritan is that it is a patient-driven organization,” said Morry. “I became a family nurse practitioner so that I could help people and I’m happy to join the team at Samaritan Coastal Clinic.”
Morry earned a bachelor’s degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering School of Nursing and a master’s degree in nursing with a family nurse practitioner specialty from Washington State University.
She speaks Amharic and Affan Oromo in addition to English. Morry is also involved in efforts to prevent the spread of HIV in Ethiopia.
In her free time, Morry enjoys traveling and exploring health care systems in other parts of the world, learning about other cultures, reading books, playing piano and going for walks.
