Samaritan Health Services invites the public to learn more about healthy living at Diabetes Day on Saturday, April 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This free symposium will take place at the Samaritan Center, 605 Mullins Drive in Lebanon.
The Food Network’s celebrity chef Curtis Aiken will lead off the free symposium with a cooking demonstration. Breakout sessions will include information about new diabetes medications, lifestyle changes and preventing complications associated with diabetes.
The Vicki Stevens-Sonny Hess Band, a popular Northwest blues band, will close the symposium with a performance and dancing.
