Understand Sleep Apnea Therapies to Reduce Health Risks

Understanding the different modes of Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy is important for sufferers of sleep apnea. Using a PAP device improves their quality of life and reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke and many diseases.
Learn more about PAP therapy at a free seminar next week in Corvallis. Joshua Morris, a registered respiratory therapist from Samaritan Medical Supplies, will explain the differences between sleep apnea therapies such as CPAP, BiPAP, BiPAP servo and AVAPS.
The seminar takes place Wednesday, March 25 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, conference rooms A/B, in Corvallis. Call 541-768-5260 for more information.

This event is part of the Dream On support group which holds regular meetings throughout the year. It is sponsored by the Samaritan Sleep Disorders Center, and is open to anyone with sleep apnea and other sleep disorders, as well as their family and friends. New attendees are always welcome to join. More information is available at
