Physician Stays in Albany After Completing Residency Program

Samaritan Family Medicine – Geary Street in Albany welcomes Kate McDonough, DO.

McDonough completed residency training at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, serving patients at Samaritan Family Medicine Resident Clinics in Corvallis and Albany. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Boise State University and a medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences of Osteopathic Medicine.

Samaritan’s residency programs were meant to help grow the future of health care in our region by addressing the nationwide physician shortage in a local way,” said Jennifer Williams, manager of Samaritan Family Medicine – Geary Street and Samaritan Family Medicine Resident Clinic – Geary Street. “We are so happy Dr. McDonough will continue to provide health care here in Albany. The patients love her, and her patient panel is actually full already!”

Away from the office, McDonough enjoys reading, writing and auto racing.
