Samaritan to Open New Rehabilitation Clinic in Lebanon

Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital is extending its outpatient rehabilitation services to a new clinic across Hwy. 20 from the hospital.

Samaritan Rehabilitation Specialties – Lebanon will open on Monday, April 18 at 100 Mullins Drive, Suite D-3 in the Lebanon Professional Center. Hours of service will be Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Physical therapists will treat patients with orthopedic injuries related to the back, neck and extremities, as well as sports-medicine related conditions. The new clinic will also house the pelvic floor therapy program which continues to treat both male and female patients with incontinence and pelvic pain.

“The Lebanon community has a greater need for physical rehabilitation services, so we’re expanding to meet that need,” said Robert Long, manager of the hospital’s Rehabilitation Specialties. “Our patients will have more space to efficiently address their rehabilitation needs.”

Some of the hospital’s outpatient rehabilitation services will remain at the hospital, offering speech, occupational and physical therapy services. Therapists at the hospital will see and treat patients in need of services regarding gait and balance issues, neurological-based therapies, hand and shoulder therapies, chronic pain therapies and some orthopedic injury therapies.
