News Embrace the Aloha Spirit at this Year's Cancer Survivors Day

Aloha is a word that goes beyond a greeting, defined broadly as love, affection, grace, compassion and more.

Embrace the aloha spirit at this year’s Cancer Survivors Day. Around the globe on the first Sunday of every June, people living with a history of cancer come together to connect, celebrate milestones and recognize those who have supported them along the way.

From the newly diagnosed to decades-long survivors, to family members and medical professionals, join us on Sunday, June 5, for food, fun and hopefully some sun!

Register for the event by calling 541-768-4752. Car washes, lunch, face painting, art activities, bounce house and other festivities are all free for survivors and their loved ones.

Who: Cancer survivors and their loved ones
What: A family-style, tropical-themed event with lunch and activities
When: Sunday, June 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
