Lebanon Hospital Nurses Earn Certifications

By Ian Rollins

Three nurses in the Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital Emergency Department recently earned their Certification in Emergency Nursing, bringing the department up to 15 nurses with their certifications.

The certification demonstrates these nurses’ commitment to the highest level of, and latest developments in, emergency patient care. Earning the certification requires hours of study and a rigorous exam.

Emergency nurses Reeta Hill, Larry Gibbons, and Cheri Shilts recently earned their CEN. They join Katie Mock, Kim Elliott, Clair Barnett, Jean Benson, Mary Halik, Trish Weber, Carrie Judy, Pete McMenamin, Neil Versolenko, Carrie Hazleton, Brooke Storms and Melissa Maeda with this certification.

Hazleton, Barnett and Weber also hold their certifications in trauma and pediatric emergency nursing. Halik holds her pediatric certification, and Versolenko has his trauma certification.
