The facility will serve the general public as well as professional truck drivers. Housed in a large mobile trailer, it features two exam rooms, a laboratory and X-ray, as well as a waiting area and restroom. It is just the first of several planned SamCare facilities.
“Samaritan strives to provide a full spectrum of health care services to a large and diverse population in our three-county area,” said Samaritan President and CEO Larry Mullins, DHA. “Mobile medical facilities like SamCare will allow us to reach even more people who can benefit from our services. I am proud of the many fellow Samaritans who helped make this idea a reality and look forward to opening more of these facilities to bring convenient, accessible health care to residents and visitors of our communities.”
