Suspicious Moles? Get a Free Skin Cancer Screening

More than 1 million Americans are diagnosed with skin cancer every year. Your skin can be exposed to harmful ultraviolet rays, even if it’s not sunny outside.

Free skin cancer screening will be held in Newport and Sweet Home, sponsored by the Samaritan Cancer Program. The screenings are intended to reach underserved areas and populations.

Registration is required and appointments fill up quickly.

Thursday, Sept. 15, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Center for Health Education, 740 SW Ninth St.
Registration required: call 1-877-311-4686.
Services provided by Silver Falls Dermatology & Allergy.
