Sweet Home Family Medicine is pleased to welcome Wade Huey, MD, an experienced family medicine physician.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and a medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center, followed by a residency at Northwest Texas Hospital. Most recently, Huey practiced medicine in Eugene before joining Samaritan.
He initially pursued a career in medicine out of an interest in research.
“While I was in medical school, I discovered that I really liked the interpersonal relationships and helping people with complex medical problems,” he said. “I came to work for Samaritan because I like our philosophy and approach in taking care of our patients’ health care needs.”
In his free time, Huey enjoys spending time with his wife and teenage children, attending his kids’ school activities and sports events, as well as woodworking and gardening.
