Samaritan Central Coast Internal Medicine and Samaritan Pacific Internal Medicine will join forces starting in February to become Samaritan Health Center - Newport.
The two clinics will come together at the current Samaritan Pacific Internal Medicine location at 1010 SW Coast Highway, Suite 201, Newport, in advance of new construction at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, where Samaritan Central Coast Internal Medicine is currently located.
The merged clinics will take on a new name, Samaritan Health Center – Newport.
“This move will bring the best of each clinic together,” said Clinic Manager Becky Thompson. “We expect the combined resources to help our internal medicine providers as they offer patient care, and our staff as they help patients establish with new providers or set appointments. We’re looking forward to teaming up to provide the best care possible.”
In 2018, when construction is complete at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, the clinic is slated to move back to the hospital campus.
