Physician Assistant Sarah Brainerd is now seeing patients at Samaritan Depoe Bay Clinic. She joins Dr. Jerry Flaming, DO, who recently returned to family practice medicine in Depoe Bay.
As a primary care provider, Brainerd has a strong commitment to helping her patients manage chronic conditions through healthy lifestyles, when possible.
“My desire is to help others lead healthier lives through education, motivation and support,” she said.
Brainerd and her husband recently relocated to the community from Oak Island, North Carolina.
“I am really excited to be here in such a well-staffed office,” Brainerd said. “With a mental health specialist, care coordinators, a certified medical assistant and Dr. Flaming all on staff and working as a team, we can provide the highest level of care for our patients.”
Brainerd received a bachelor’s degree in biology at Illinois College and a master’s degree at Campbell University. She comes to Depoe Bay after seeing patients at Dosher Memorial Hospital and Brunswick Family Medical Clinic in North Carolina for the past three years.
On a personal note, she enjoys outdoor activities, hiking, kayaking, beach combing and time with her family.
