Daniel Dowswell, DO, has joined Samaritan Health Services, providing care to patients of Albany OB/GYN.
Dr. Dowswell earned a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, and a medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Botsford General Hospital and Mesa General Hospital.
In addition to providing patient care, Dr. Dowswell was a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and an adjunct assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Midwestern University of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Dowswell’s advanced training includes da Vinci robotic surgery; advanced laparoscopic suturing and stapling techniques; laparoscopic hysterectomy, minimally invasive surgery strategies and ablation and a variety of birth control options.
In his free time he enjoys hiking and kayaking, exploring the outdoors and spending time with family.
