Deanne Leonard, MD, has joined Samaritan Kidney Specialists. She will see patients in Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon and Newport.
Dr. Leonard treats kidney disease and associated conditions. She is passionate about caring for the needs of her patients and the pursuit of medical advancements.
She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Nevada, Reno and received her medical degree at University of Nevada School of Medicine. She completed residency training at Florida Hospital and fellowships in nephrology and transplant nephrology at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Leonard values teamwork and believes in fostering good health through lifestyle choices, preventive services and a supportive environment. “I feel inspired by Samaritan’s mission in the community, and I am excited to join the team,” she said.
When not at work, Dr. Leonard enjoys Olympic-style fencing, singing opera, hiking, fishing and spending time at the beach.
