New Physician Assistant Now Seeing Patients in Newport

By Tricia Schug

Physician Assistant Kristina Uehlin is now seeing patients at Samaritan Health Center–Newport. She provides internal medicine for adults.

Uehlin enjoys caring for her patients and looks forward to serving the broader Newport community. She has a special interest and experience in dermatology.

Uehlin earned her undergraduate degree and received medical training at the University of Washington, School of Medicine.

She has worked in the medical field for 28 years, beginning as a file clerk and working her way up as her training and education allowed. Most recently, she served as a mid-level provider at a busy family practice clinic in eastern Oregon.

Uehlin recently relocated to the Newport area to be closer to family.

“I look forward to being part of a team of caregivers who want to bring the best care possible to their community,” she said.
