Psychologist Alan Silver, PsyD, has joined Samaritan Health Services, providing behavioral health care to patients of Samaritan Medical Clinics – North Albany.
Dr. Silver earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University, and master’s and doctoral degrees from Pacific University. He completed an internship at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit and residency training at Samaritan Medical Clinics – North Albany.
Specializing in primary care psychology, Dr. Silver assists individuals with a variety of physical, emotional or behavioral sources of stress. In addition, Dr. Silver also provides behavioral health services at Samaritan Endocrinology, where he works with patients to reduce stress associated with health disorders.
Dr. Silver’s interests include providing behavioral health services and advocacy for patients who identify as gender and sexual minorities.
In his free time, Dr. Silver enjoys hiking, reading, swimming, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
