You don’t have to wait until the start of a new year to recommit to health goals or make changes you’ve been thinking about. Quitting tobacco, smoking or vaping is one of the major steps you can take that will lead you to a healthier lifestyle – any time of year is a great time to get started!
Some of the benefits of quitting tobacco include:
- Decreased risk for heart disease, stroke and many types of cancer
- Better respiratory health, including less coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath
- More money in your pocket (smokers spend an average of $1,500 per year on cigarettes)
If quitting tobacco is at the top of your list this year, you can feel confident and prepared knowing there are resources and tools to help you reach success on your journey.

Common options E-Visit providers can provide include medication, nicotine patches, referrals to support groups or information about helpful resources.
