Samaritan Health Services is offering mass vaccination clinics for Meningitis B Friday, Jan. 12 through Wednesday, Jan. 17 in order to help Oregon State University students who need to complete the two vaccine requirement by February 15.
Please bring a copy of your current insurance card with you. Most insurances are accepted. If you are uninsured or you wish to pay out-of-pocket, the cost is $266. A registration form and vaccine information are available below for you to fill out and bring with you. Please make sure to bring both documents as this will help expedite the check-in process and get you on your way to preventing Meningitis faster.
It is best to eat before receiving the vaccine to help alleviate side effects of nausea and dizziness immediately after getting your shot. After receiving the vaccine, you may experience muscle soreness for one to three days. The vaccine will be given in the upper part of your arm and you can choose which arm you would like to receive it in.
