The new year is here! How are you doing with your diabetes? Need some help to get on the right path?
Find out more at Samaritan’s free Diabetes Day: Path to Better Health conference on Saturday, April 14, at the Linn County Fair & Expo Center in Albany! The conference will run from 8 a.m. to noon. You will hear success stories from people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, and learn about new medication and research updates.
Diabetes Educator Teresa Martin from Novo Nordisk will give a keynote talk titled “The Journey to Good Health May Be Through Your Gut.” Other sessions will include:
- Food insecurity, with Diabetes Educator Theresa Anderson from Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
- Medication updates with Oregon State University pharmacy students.
Snacks and door prizes will be available as well. Door prizes will come from local organizations in Albany, Corvallis and Lebanon.
