Katherine Bowen, CNM, has joined Samaritan Obstetrics & Gynecology – Corvallis.
Bowen earned a bachelor’s degree from University of California Davis and a master’s degree from Vanderbilt University. She became interested in midwifery after HIV and malaria research led her to global health work.
“While working abroad, I worked with midwives and identified with the need they fulfilled in their communities,” said Bowen.
Bowen enjoys working with women and their partners through all life events and empowering them to make informed decisions. She looks forward to working with the team at Samaritan Obstetrics & Gynecology – Corvallis. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, cooking and attending live concerts.
