Porsche Show to Raise Money for Foundation Hospice Fund

By Tricia Schug

The Cascade Region of the Porsche Club of America is hosting a Porsche-only show on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Salishan Spa and Golf Resort in Gleneden Beach. Registration for participants is $50 per vehicle, and all proceeds will benefit the Pacific Communities Health District Foundation’s Hospice fund.

The event is open to all Porsche owners, and offers participants a “Show and Shine format” in a welcoming, coastal setting, conducive for displaying their vehicles. Live music, silent auction and awards are also planned for the event, which is free and open to the general public.

Proceeds from event registrations will be used to help support patients in hospice and their families in providing comfort services not covered by Medicare, such as music therapy and massage for patients, and aid for their families with travel and phone assistance.

The Pacific Communities Health District Foundation is a nonprofit organization, committed to improving the health of our local communities.

Register your vehicle for the event. Registration deadline is Aug. 4. Membership in the Porsche Club of America is not required.
