Samaritan Lebanon Health Center-Family Medicine is pleased to welcome Physician Assistant Stephanie Gutierrez to its team.
Gutierrez attained bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology from Northern Arizona University, followed by a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C.
She chose to become a physician assistant after working as a paramedic. “After several years, I knew I wanted to be more involved, develop relationships, and be able to follow up with my patient’s progress throughout their treatment,” she said.
Gutierrez chose Samaritan for the opportunity to decide on the field of medicine for her career. “I enjoy so many aspects of medicine that I am looking to find my calling and Samaritan will provide that opportunity, as well as being able to work for a company that has been touted as the best by its current employees,” she said.
In her free time, Gutierrez enjoys spending time with her family, as well as water activities, going to the farmer’s market and reading.
