Heart Center Announces Move & New Name

On Tuesday, Sept. 4, Samaritan’s Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery and Heart Rhythm departments will come together under a new name, Samaritan Heart Center, as they move to a new location on the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center campus. The Cardiac Surgery Department will start moving on Wednesday, Aug. 29 and the Cardiology and Heart Rhythm departments will start their moves on Thursday, Aug. 30.

On the first floor at 3640 NW Samaritan Drive, the new location and new name underscore convenient access for patients, as well as even closer collaboration between Samaritan’s various cardiac care specialists.

“The new space has been designed with the patient experience in mind,” said Samaritan Heart Center Medical Director and Cardiologist Matthew Lindberg, MD. “Our patients will have one, familiar and comfortable reception desk for checking in for any kind of cardiac appointment, whether with a cardiologist, cardiac surgeon or for heart rhythm device management. In addition, all exam rooms and physician offices were intentionally located together on the same floor to make it even easier for us to consult with each other on patient care.”
