A Fresh Look in the Outpatient Surgery Center

Thanks to an anonymous donor, a special delivery of new chairs and loveseats made their way to the Outpatient Surgery waiting area at Samaritan Albany General Hospital.

The donor had noticed how the old furniture was looking worn, dated and dirty and made the decision to fund the new outpatient furniture. The designs were chosen to match the current décor and the furniture designs are up-to-date, matching recent updates at other Samaritan locations.

“This donor recognized the need for the new furniture as well as the budgetary constraints of our hospital and was willing to help,” said Jennifer Stanaway, director of Albany General Hospital Foundation.

“Patients and employees alike have been noticing the fresh look in the waiting area,” said Stanaway. “I continue to be amazed at the generosity of our donors and the contributions that help in our mission of building healthier communities.”
