It’s a new year and if you are seeking inspiration to make it a great one, you won’t want to miss this issue of Heart to Heart.
Our cover story features an Albany man who experienced a quadruple bypass, open-heart surgery and with support of family and friends was able to make it home by Christmas. You’ll also read about a woman who had a previous spinal injury, fell paralyzed during lunch with a friend and, after surgery, is now walking again. And, a man whose enlarged prostate was impacting his biking adventures sought treatment and is back to enjoying retirement.
One of our amazing volunteers continues to inspire after more than 11,000 hours giving of herself to others. We also feel the caring, support, honor and compassion experienced by a family’s hospice experience.
So what values do you care about? What inspires you? What in life do you find fulfilling and meaningful? A Samaritan psychologist provides insight into what inspires and how to channel that into positive change in the new year.
Heart to Heart is your local guide to good health from Samaritan Health Services. Be inspired!
