The 2019 Samaritan Scramble golf tournament raised $155,050 for Sarah’s Place, a regional examination center for victims of sexual abuse.

Sarah’s Place is located at Samaritan Albany General Hospital. It serves victims throughout Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.

Held in mid-June at Trysting Tree Golf Course, the tournament drew 124 players and 31 sponsors ranging from $2,500 to $20,000.

“The support from our sponsors and community members is overwhelming,” said Jennifer Stanaway, executive director of the Albany General Hospital Foundation and Lebanon Community Hospital Foundation, which hosted the tournament. “These funds will help to provide care and compassion for the patients of Sarah’s Place. Our communities are very fortunate to have the services of Sarah’s Place to provide a safe place for victims of abuse to receive resources and care.”
