Recipe Tips

Experiment with other fresh fruits and bounties of summer – think melon purees, fresh cucumber, raspberries or blackberries. Fresh herbs can also provide tasty and unique flavor. Sprigs of mint can add a refreshing zip. Rosemary or lavender offer visual interest and flavor. Cilantro’s lacy green leaves and tangy citrus flavor are another thirst quenching option. Favorite spices are delicious flavor enhancers as well. Ginger, cinnamon sticks and cloves are typically considered staples of fall, but all three can liven a cool summer drink.  With the limitless combination of fruits, herbs and spices you can explore your culinary sense of adventure all summer long!
