Samaritan’s first ever virtual 5K, 10K and half marathon will take place Sept. 10-27 and wouldn’t be possible without support from the community. Financial Freedom Wealth Management Group is a gold sponsor for the Samaritan Walk Run Roll, donating $2,500 to the cause, and supporting the Pacific Communities Health District Foundation (PCHDF).
As a comprehensive wealth management firm, Financial Freedom Wealth Management Group is committed to educating clients and helping them make wise financial decisions. They work with individuals, families and business owners to realize their personal vision of financial success. Their approach to wealth management is to help clients reduce financial stress, aim to retire with confidence and leave a legacy.
“As a company founded in Newport, and with offices in Corvallis and other parts of the state, we are proud to be a sponsor of the Samaritan Run Walk Roll virtual event,” said Julia Carlson, founder and CEO of Financial Freedom Wealth Management Group. “We support Samaritan Health Services with their continued effort to promote equal access to care through their Patient Support Program. Together, we strive to keep our communities healthy in all aspects of life.”
Julia Carlson has served as the treasurer of the PCHDF executive board and finance committee since 2018.
The $40 entry fee to participate in the race will benefit Samaritan Health Services’ Patient Support Program. Currently, 486 community members are benefiting from this program through assistance with expenses such as medical bills, transportation, prescriptions, nutritional supplements and groceries. In 2019, the program distributed $45,000 in assistance in Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.
